Oak Ridge, Tennessee Speed Traps

Oak Ridge police like to sit in a grassy area behind a "Welcome To Oak Ridge" sign just on the Anderson County side of the Solway bridge on the route into Oak Ridge and gun for speeding tickets. Hard to see them until too late. They also use the nearby cemetary driveways and work in pairs, one shooting, one chasing.

45 miles an hour on a 4 lane divided hi-way. this road is a good as the interstate. and anyone going over 50 gets to pay for it. Watch yourself in oak ridge. they had 145 people ticketed ( no kidding )in the week I went to court. More than half were from the area described above.
