State Highway Chapman near City Limits of Sevierville
The speed limit drops from 55 MPH to 35 MPH with in 1/2 a mile. The county cops will not ticket but the city cops will nail you (don’t expect any breaks).

Dolly Parton Parkway near State Highway From Hiway 66 East on Dolly Parton Parkway
This is a 4 lane highway but they have the speed limit at 35MPH.
Interstate 40 near Exit 407 to Exit 417
Generally Tennesse Highway Patrol. THP sits in the median in the tall grass and are very hard to see. Right around mile marker 411 they sit in tall grass near the pine trees always facing you. You can see the worn areas through the medians.
Hwy 66 Expressway near Hwy 66 Bypass
If you drive into Sevierville Beware! Hwy 66 from Interstate 40 to town has constant heavy radar enforcement. Anywhere in town you are fair game with low speed limits and a very agressive police force and officers. Also beware on Dolly Parton Parkway eastbound through town!
I have not received a ticket but listen daily to a scanner and can testify as to what is going on. You must keep your radar detector running in this town!
US 441 South at the Sevierville City Limits
Speed limit goes from 55 to 45 and then 45 to 35 all within a 1 mile stretch. Police sit in parking lots prepared to issue citations upon violation. It is a 4-lane highway and very difficult to realise the speed limit is 35 .
