Robert E. Lee Street near Robert E. Lee Street

Austin, TexasJun 24, 20080 Comments

I wasn’t even in Austin for an hour and was lost feeling like I was going at a safe pace! I was on Robert E. Lee near Umlauf (sorry if my information up here is wrong), and a motorcycle cop used his gun and tagged me going 45 in a 35. Had no shame in giving me a ticket and unsympathetic to be being completely lost and stressed! He pulls you over to the right in a big dirt lot behind a baseball field. I waited there for 15 minutes because someone was going to have me follow them due to me being lost. Saw the same cop get another person in that area. Watch out!

Manchaca Road near Ditmar Lane

Austin, TexasJun 22, 20080 Comments

Motorcycle cop sits back on the streets entering the neighborhoods. Both East and West sides of Manchaca Rd. Speed Limit is 45 mph. Let the scouts shoot ahead of you then smile and wave as you drive by, while they are being ticketed.

Ben White Boulevard near Bannister Street

Austin, TexasJun 11, 20080 Comments

Motorcycle cop likes to sit in the shadows underneath the overpass at Bannister on Ben White. Usually I see him in the middle of the day, but I’ve also seen one there early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

Convict Hill Road Street near Robert Kleburg Lane

Austin, TexasMay 01, 20081 Comments

This is a favorite spot for motorcycle cops to catch the unsuspecting, eastbound on Convict Hill. The speed limit is 30, and you have to really ride your brakes to keep to the posted speed. Cops will stand under a tree making them hard to see as you come around a bend in the road.
