Carrollton, Texas Speed Traps
I-35 service rd between George Bush Toll and Beltline rd
the speed limit is only 35mph which is quit low for a service rd, especially when u need to get on I-35 highway, so a cop will usually park between Beltline rd and the entrance ramp for I-35 clocking drivers knowing that you would have to drive around 45 to 50 mph to get on I-35 safely.
Sandy Lake Rd. between Josey and McCoy Rd.
Motorcycle cops working this stretch heavily in both directions. Hide in the park on the southbound side of Sandy Lake shooting eastbound drivers coming down the hill and in the median or across from the library shooting westbound drivers. Beware they want your hard earned $$$$
Sandy Lake Road Westbound between I-35 and Bush
Motorcycle cops sit in the entrance to Sandy Lake Amusemant Park catching drivers westbound after they drive under I-35 and the sharp left curve on Sandy Lake Rd. Very light traffic and road is straight so easy to exceed the 40 MPH limit which is not posted ! Crusier will also sit in the median of Sandy Lake at the end of this stretch right before your reach PGBT catching westbound drivers.
North 35E Service Road, 190 – Frankford…
Officer sits at end of exit ramp, waiting for people leaving 35E at 60 – 65 mph who suddenly drop into a 40mph zone. Also they wait on cycles in the Classic Buick, GMC dealership.
Old Denton Road – Hwy 190 to Frankford
