El Paso, Texas Speed Traps
Loop 375, from Sunland Park to UTEP
Overhead pass patrol vehicle, one monitoring speed and another parked and ready to go, 2 traps in a 5 mi stretch.
On Railroad Dr. between Hondo Pass Dr. and Woodrow Bean Transmountain Dr.
Winding road with cops hiding around each one. When traveling North speed changes from 55mph to when you hit Hondo Pass 45mph past Wren Ave to 35mph that’s where they usually get you.
Redd Rd. and Westwind Dr.
Coming down from the hill going on Redd Rd. from Bear Ridge nearing Westwind way up the hill there is a speed trap with a big tree blocking the school speed limit sign which to me is a stupid place to have a school speed limit sign. The motorcycle cop even tells me “Yeah there trying to get some blinking lights installed there”. Which I had told him they needed there. As I was getting my ticket I was watching all the cars speeding down that hill. They put that sign there for all the money they are making knowing people have to concentrate on the turn rather than on the school sign.
border freeway
west of the Zaragosa crossing, Loop 375 entrance from section of the Zaragosa border crossing to Interstate 10 from other side of alameda exit state highway patrol pulled me over said he clocked over 60 yeah right!
Belvedere between Mesa and Resler
Speed limit is 30 even though there are steep hills. They hide at the bottom of hills and around the curves so stay on the brakes all through there.
