Coming east or west, as you approach and pass the exit for Biggs, or going east as you approach and pass the airport, Biggs exit, on the long sweeper on 601 is the camaro cop car sitting and waiting off to the side waiting to snag people that are coming around that corner to fast.
Various traffice units will park om the side or median near Almeida hrine bldg. The speed limit is 45 but its really easy to let you speed go higher going down Alabama St. They’ll get you after you round rge curve by the apartments.
Motorcycle cops sit behind the sign just inside the entrance of the golf course. It’s hard to see them when cresting the hill. If you look close enough, you can see the white of their helmets just over the top of the sign. There are usually two or three of them sitting together. Make sure you don’t speed when you crest the hill going toward Biggs Field. They are sneaky!
Rushing is a long road and the speed limit changes between every other block: 30, 35, 30, 35, 30 and then 45. Pay attention to the speed limits. Cops don’t usually park on the side alone and in the open, they are often parked close inbetween residents’ cars and you may think they are inside one of the homes-but they are actually sitting in the car and will pull out to catch you the moment you pass. Watch out because they may have "clocked" you three or four blocks down the road when you weren’t paying attention to the speed limit changes. Also, the speed limit changes between blocks and there are not always stop signs to indicate a speed change. You’ll cruise 35 for two blocks, then the speed will drop to 30 and you won’t even notice it dropped until it’s too late.
