Lufkin, Texas Speed Traps

The Lufkin PD will position one of its finest in the median in the middle just before you come to the new 69 N overpass. He will sit in between two large trees so you cannot see his car until its too late. They can then get you going either way and pull out with almost no warning. By the time you see them they allready have you. Speed limit is 55 but this is an area devoid of any houses or businesses and could really be 65 since you will be on 69N in a matter of seconds and out of the city limits.

They sit on the Inside part of the Loop. Speed limit in several locations changes from 50 to 55 and back to 50, back to 55. Some of the speed limit signs have branches in front and you can’t see speed limit until you are practically on top of it.
