US Highway 380 near between Custer & Lake Forest Street
US Hwy 380, East of Custer Rd. and West of Lake Forest Dr. both directions. Radar car sits in the median in full (but unexpected) view. There are hills in the area so he gets you when you have just crested the hill.
Coit Road near Main Street
Officer sits on Coit Road between Main and Eldorado and radars in both directions. This is a two lane road with empty farm land on either side and no entrances. The speed limit is 35 which seems odd given that it is not a residential area. They definitely use this area as a speed trap.
Park View Road near North Brook Road
A motorcycle officer hides at the corner of this intersection and waits at the retirement community parking lot. Since Park View curves along the park, you can’t really see him until you are in full view of his radar. He’s there between 4 and 6 pm during rush hour.
US Highway 380 near Custer Road
Traveling West to East between Custer Road and Lake Forest Drive or traveling East to West Just past Lake Forest Drive on the south side there are several gravel roads where the patrol car sits protected from view by trees. They also sit in the tractor dealership driveway on the south side of Hwy 380. Limit is 60 mph and they wrote me for 70 mph and there was no way I was going that fast. They are even dishonest so besure to slow down there.
El Dorado Road near Orchid Street
Motorcycle cop guns people with Ka radar and then pulls them into his “office”” (church/preschool parking lot) to give you a ticket.”
