Pleasant View Rd

Nolanville, TexasJan 21, 20110 Comments

When you turn onto Pleasant View Rd from FM 439 there is a clear speed limit sign of 45 mph. But as soon as the maintenance of the road changes to Nolanville about half down (the road is only about a mile long), there is a much shorter, recessed speed limit sign (almost hidden by brush) where the limit changes to 30 mph. You would likely not notice this sign unless you were really looking for it and there doesn’t isn’t any apparent reason for the speed limit to change on the short road. An officer is hanging out right past that sign catching people still going 45.

NPD strictly monitors vehilce traffic traveling east and west on US 190. The range of patroll starts from the base of Nolanville hill to the west city limits. NPD Police Units park in the center divider, or on eather shoulder of US 190. They have also been known to conceal themselves behind trees or near the bridge.

From the time you enter the Nolanvill City Limits they get you everywhere. Especially along the highway. This place is so bad I am surprized it is not already on here. 20/20 even did a story about it because it is so bad. I got nabbed by the community center on a dead street/(10th street) with almost no normal traffic.
