1 cop pulls over a speeder and the 2nd cop waits for someone not to slow.

I have seen 5+ cop cars waiting on the ramp from 1171 to pull folks over.
There is nothing in Northlake but a pasture with a Court/Police station that looks like a House Trailer.

going west bound on 114 at I-35 Northlake police will sit on the left in the ditch radaring the traffic approaching the lite at I-35.

Not sure where the actual town of Northlake is, don’t think there is one. There is a Northlake Police Dept. however, created specifially to mine about a 5 mile stretch of I35 between 114 and 1171. They have an SUV with all the bells and whistles and a camaro along with the plain cop cars. Been lucky so far and not been ticked however I drive that stretch of road frequently and there are nearly always people pulled over. One trick that a friend witnessed. Two Northlake cops were pulled over to the side of the highway actually in the grass with their blue and reds flashing talking to each other, when a car didn’t move to the outside lane, one of the cops chased him down and pulled him over, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle I’m guessing.

From Denton to Texas Motor Speedway on I-35W High Density, Unmarked Cars, Instant on Radar. The town of Northlake (I grew up here and never heard of it) has annexed a 5 mile stretch of desolate I-35. It is obnoxious. There are sometimes 3 of them in the strech. They have an unmarked black camaro and an unmarked black Dodge Intrepid as well as a slew of regular marked cars. The population of Northlake is 921, yes 921, and they have at least 10 officers and 5 cars.
They get around the Texas Speedtrap law, which limits the percentage of revenue from tickets because they managed to annex in front of Texas Motor Speedway. They patrol their 5 miles 24-7 with multiple cars. These people are a disgrace to other Police Officers.
