Northlake, Texas Speed Traps

IH-35W southbound at exit for SH 114. Exit is well ahead of the intersection with SH 114. Exit is wide and shallow off IH-35W onto wide two-lane one-way service road. Traffic typically exits the interstate at or near freeway speeds, continues about 1/4 mile to SH 114. The municipality of Northlake has recently annexed the area west of IH-35W and posted 50 MPH speed limits. Traffic officer typically tucks in next to freeway on east side of road near the intersection and runs radar as vehicles exit freeway and before they start to slow for the intersection.
