Speed Limit is 45 MPH, EXTREMELY HIGH police presence on FM 518, while enforcement seems to be centered around 5 mph and over, it is recommended drivers unfamiliar with the area strictly adhere to speed limit. At I-35 intersection with FM 518 (Railroad tracks) the police department is located, police presence in this area extremely high, officers nab unsuspecting motorists constantly in this area.
