Frontier Parkway (F. M. 1461) to State Highway 380, the speed limit is 45 mph. This is a two lane road where police will sit back on a side street or just beyond the bridge (sitting north bound on a barricaded road by the tower) to catch drivers going south bound. This is a no passing road at all, but many will pass and be pulled over for passing as well. Just south of 380 the speed limit goes up to 55mph. This is an issue for Celina as well, from Frontier (1461) to F. M. 428. Not just local police sit and wait – Sheriff and Constables as well.
