San Angelo, Texas Speed Traps

I live in San Antonio, TX and am presently attending a US Navy school at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX. I travel back and forth to see my family every possible weekend. I have discovered that the LEA of Tom Greene County area typically surf this area of the highway, driving back and forth, regularly stopping speeders and non-speeders alike. I was personally stopped immediately after crossing over a small bridge at Robert’s Rd. which is at the end of a long right hand veer. My cruise was set at the legal limit of 65. I was just passed by a Grand Cherokee loaded on top with luggage. Court date pending.

I was NOT over the speed limit 70 mph and with patrol car following me was told I was going 81. A $110 tax for the priveledge of passing by Eden Tx! Have to drive back 4 hours to fight this ticket. Had car checked and my speedometer is perfect.
