Hausman Road near Interstate 10

San Antonio, TexasJan 03, 20060 Comments

Hausman Road patrol has increased dramatically due to construction of new neighborhoods. It is a 2 lane road until you come up on Leon Creek bridge, it widens to 4 lanes for a short while. The SAPD will sit on the side of the road hidden behind some trees and will stop you for doing 5 over.

General Hudnell Road near Billy Mitchell Street

San Antonio, TexasOct 16, 20050 Comments

As you drive towards Billy Mitchell, the motorcycle officers are parked in the middle barrier behind 5 large yellow barrells. As one drives up a small hill and attempts to cross over onto a turning lane a blind spot is apparent. Will flag you down and issue a citation.

Interstate 37 near Interstate 10

San Antonio, TexasJul 18, 20050 Comments

Police monitor a ~3 mile stretch of I-37 by downtown San Antonio which they have made 55 – not sure what difference from 65 this makes in the area. Anyway, the police will sit in the emergency lane of the freeway on the blind side of hill so (very unsafe). They also sit toward the end of the stretch, right before it goes back to 65, just in case you forget exactly where the speed limit changes again.

Henderson Pass Road near Thousand Oaks Road

San Antonio, TexasJul 13, 20050 Comments

the ‘s’ turn between thousand oaks and shadow cliff, there is always a motorcycle cop waiting just in view from the post office. sometimes the same motorcycle cop waits at the neighborhood entrance right after the horse stables. the limit is 30 and lots of people do 40 plus on the ‘s’ turn there. this one is towards brook hollow from shadow cliff. i got pulled over doing 43 in a 30 by the stables.

Perrin Central Boulevard near diamond shamrock gas station

San Antonio, TexasMay 14, 20050 Comments

Two police cars will sit in a parking lot behind the diamond shamrock on the corner of Perrin Bietel and Perrin Central Blvd. People that exit off of Wurzbach Pkwy speed on Perrin Central because it’s nothing but apartments and when they get to the light at the intersection one of the two cops will be there waiting for them.
