S Valley Mills Boulevard near Franklin Avenue

Waco, TexasMar 26, 20081 Comments

Heading from N Valley Mills Blvd to S Valley Mills Blvd, when you cross over Franklin, you need to be careful. The speed limit is 40 (which is low for 4 lanes in one direction) and you’re going downhill. The BHPD sit in the median at the light. In the mornings, they are on the right in the next shopping center.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard near The Old Waterworks Cafe Building

Waco, TexasJun 01, 20070 Comments

Traveling MLK west towards Herring from I35, beware the Waco Drive overpass where the Waterworks Cafe used to be. Cops tend to park beneath the overpass in the parking lot there in the morning, peak around 8-9. A few times I’ve seen them hang around until around 1 pm; they’re basically there to keep the college kids in check. I know tons of people (myself included) who take MLK at 60+ despite the posted limit of 40, and usually due to the curvature of the road it’s hard to see the cop until the very last second.

State Highway 84 near ST HWY 6 to McGregor Airport

Waco, TexasAug 02, 20041 Comments

Woodway’s Police Dept is very active along Hwy 84, anywhere between the intersection of St Hwy 6 & the intersection of Speegleville Rd, by McGregor Airport.
The are very good at hiding out of site, so stay at 60 or meet one of Woodway’s finest.
