Provo, Utah Speed Traps

Once you exit from I-15 onto Center Street, the speed limit is 35. Once you reach 500 West, the speed limit drops immediately to 15. The police cars park in normal parking spots and wave you down after you exceed the new 15 mph speed limit. No "reduce speed ahead" signs just a dramatic drop to 15 mph (Lower than the school zones in Utah).

Police cars will sit at the bottom of a hill, that is almost impossible to stay at the speed limit when coming down, and when you get to the bottom they will be standing in the road flagging you over. They sit between parked cars or around a corner, and they have no mercy!

Police park anywhere along Foothill Dr., a lot of the time in front of my house at the top of Quail Valley. This is a long stretch of road that people just love to speed on, and the police know it. Especially watch for "Curly" – red, curly hair – he loes to criticize you once you are pulled over. He also will get you for 1 mile over the speed limit.
