South Jordan, Utah Speed Traps
11000 South and SOUTH JORDAN GATEWAY
This is just West of I-15. Be cautious if driving Northbound on South Jordan Gateway. You get an evil feeling while passing what feels like a troll. Rumor and folklore has it that trolls demanded payment in order to pass them in days of old. Be wary of any vehicle that bears these words: To (self) Serve and Protect (our jobs).
South Jordan Megaplex 20
Like to write motorcycles tickets for parking next to building when this is not a public easment and is private property.
3600 West between 11800 South and 11400 South
Cruiser sits in loading dock area at back of grocery store at the District to catch people on 3600 west
Redwood Road between 114th and 104th South.
At night, the cops like to park in the shadows where there are no street lights and trap motorists traveling on this wide road. I haven’t been pulled over, but I’ve seen the cops pull into the shadows and shut off all of their lights on several occasions. They know you can’t see them until it’s too late!
11400 South Street near LDS Church at 3300 West
"SOJO’s" finest sits at or near LDS Church at bottom of hill to get that extra 5 or 6 mph if you’re not vigilant to ride your brakes. If the quota wipeboard looks a little anemic at SOJO central, watch out! Ka and K band radar.
