Annandale, Virginia Speed Traps

The road is a two lane highway in both directions with a 25mph speed limit. The officers will hide behind parked cars at the apartments at the Patriot Drive intersection/traffic light.

Motorcycle cops usually sit waiting for speeders its a 25mph zone its very wide with a turning lane people usually go about 40 mph. I see them about once every couple weeks just be careful going down there.

Passing the golf course on your right, coming from route 236, there is a large hill you drive down. At the bottom of the hill police officers always sit in the parking lot of Forest Hollow Swim Club. Unless you ride your breaks all the way down the hill, you will get pulled over. To compound the problem, the speed limit was recently lowered from 35 mph to 25 mph, making it almost impossible to avoid a ticket unless you are aware that it is a speed trap.

South bound on Guinea Road, going from Little River Turnpike towards Braddock Road. Police stand with radar guns in a couple of different side streets before the stop light at Braeburn. Mornings and afternoons.

At the corner of the entrance to the Signal Hill development going towards Rolling Road there is often an officer found lurking in the bushes ready to jump out and herd cars into the development for speeding violations.
