North Landing Road just after Courthouse Estates and before West Neck Road, there is a vocational school and grade school in the rear. Posted speed limit in school zone is 25mph. Motorcycle cop hiding in the grass adjacent to vocational center(treelawn of private property) will ticket you using radar. There at least 2-3 times weekly.

State Police sit just past the overpass leading to Laskin Road/Virginia Beach Blvd. Sometimes a car, sometimes a motorcycle. I see them at least 2-3 times a week during my morning commute, but they do seem to be somewhat lenient – I have passed them going 10-15 mph over posted limit and not been pulled (yet!).

From the intesection Newstead Drive going West on Nimmo Parkway (they sit in the turn lane of Nimmo Parkway going East… When you leave the intersection of Newstead and Nimmo heading towards General Booth the speed limit is 35 mph. When you leave Walmart area traveling on Nimmo it is 45mph once you cross over Newstead it turns into 35mph. I guess …………..
