If you are coming from 264/Witchduck and go onto Grayson Road (opposite Greenwich), Cops on motorcycles LOVE to hang out in the Parking Lot of the Freewill Baptist Church or at the pump house further down Grayson on the left just before Corporate Woods Boulevard. They are using LADAR and catch you going down Grayson Road

Do Not Speed. I work right by the courthouse, and every day I work, i see atleast 10 people pulled over. Coming from Ferrell parkway all the way to the stop light by the courthouse, people get pulled left and right, sometimes multiple cars in a line. Right as you approach the courthouse, speed decreases from 55-50-45-35-25. A lot of the traffic is used to going 55 down the whole road and speed up right through the courthouse. 30mph is reason for them to pull you, and guaranteed that if you will get pulled from marked, unmarked, motorcycle, and SUV. Worst time to speed is early Saturday mornings. 6am-10am is when I watch the most people get pulled.

Always have an unmarked car catching speeders on Nimmo rushing to or coming out of shopping center. They even finally raised the speed limit from 35 to 40 (probably because no one was observing it & they were having to ticket most everyone!!)I said MOST 🙂 Also if the officer can’t catch you on Nimmo sometimes he’ll hide behide the hedge there on Newstead & come out to ticket those going over 25 on Newstead heading up to the Home Depot or cutting over to Elson Green. Lord help you if you didn’t stop at the 2 short stop signs there in Starbucks private parking lot…they’ll still ticket you anyway!! The officer has a full view of that while he’s hiding behind the hedges. Hmmm I thought that was entrapment??.. I guess that’s called doing your paperwork 🙂

On Potters Road coming from Lynnhaven Pkwy to Great Neck Road as soon as you come over the small bridge radar is always set up on the left side over the bridge right before London Bridge Baptist Church. I have seen hundreds of people ticketed in the past 20 years.
