Usually 2 motorcycle cops sit on wesley and clock people as the go down the hill. It’s a 30 mph zone, but you can safely do 40.

Interstate 90 Westbound near Fancher Overpass Road

Spokane, WashingtonMay 27, 20040 Comments

Nothing new about this one that is the beginning of a construction zone, except they are using aircraft which allows even those travelling speed of traffic to be ticketed. 75 in 60 and construction zone = $199. Even those who know better still want to go 70-75 MPH for the mile before Sullivan (pre-construction speed)

Grand Boulevard at Manito park

Spokane, WashingtonOct 29, 20030 Comments

There are always Motorcycle cops on Grand Boulevard along Manito Park. They pull up onto the side-walks across the street from the park, and hide behind the large trees and whatnot. They are very difficult to see, but they are there ALOT during the morning.

29th at Manito Park

Spokane, WashingtonOct 29, 20030 Comments

During the summer, the speed limit through this section of 29th (bordering Manito park) is changed from 30mph down to 20mph due to increased pedestrian traffic during the warmer season (especially since there is a pool there). Anyways, throughout the summer months, I see motorcycle cops sitting just inside the stone alcove in the center of the park. It’s impossible to see them until you actually pass them, and they are there quite regularly.

Every law enforcement department in the area, SP, Sheriff, local, hang out here. They are particularly vigilant at the bridge passing over the Spokane Airport exit. There is also a large congregation throughtout the town of Airway Heights where there are plent of small buildings they can hide behind
