Kenosha, Wisconsin Speed Traps
I94 overpass just over the WI/IL border
A friend sent me a picture of three camaras set up on the over pass above each lane heading north bound. Squads are lined up further down the road and there is what appears to be a truck and trailer set up that he said he could see video equiptment in the back and looked like some sort of command center.
Between 39th ave and Sheridan rd on state highway 165
Cops hide a few places along this stretch mainly on 34th ave back a little ways. Some times at night during the summer they hide on 32nd ave and/or 29th ave. they also hide in the trailer park near Sheridan
I-94 east bound at County KR
Kenosha County Sheriff will park in the turnout right after the county line at County KR monitoring east (south) bound traffic on I-94 as traffic tops the overpass at KR. The Wisconsin State Patrol sometimes monitors at the same location. I see them mostly in the mid afternoons (3pm to 4pm).
47th Ave, from 18th Street South to Washington Rd.
Speed limits in this somewhat Rural area range from 35 to 40. In this particular stretch, the speed limit is 25. Officers have set up camp in the last week of the month to ticket violators.
59th ave on 60th street
heading west bound you cant see the police car until you are 10ft away they sit there quite a bit. they sit all the way in the back of the parking area right next to the pond/ horse shoe area.
