Bloomfield Police like to frequent the stretch of road from State Road 50 & U.S. Hwy. 12 (Lake Geneva Meats) in Lake Geneva, WI to State Road 50 & Eastside Road in Bloomfield, WI. They use the median and side roads to pop you for doing over 55 on that stretch. State Troopers like this spot, too.

I have been going to Lake Geneva for 20+ Years, Highway 50 just west of downtown the speed limit goes from 55-45 then down to 30(headed east into town). There is a hill and there are always cops waiting right there at the transision, Usually targeting traffic Leaving town.

State Route 120 near Park Drive

When traveling South it will be right after Geneva Parkway the road bends and you will be caught going around the bend. It is only 30 MPH there. Lake Geneva & Bloomfield PD like this strip of road all the way to the state line.
When traveling North it will be right after Townline Road which is right after the race track which is on Bloomfield Road. State PD, from around this area, likes the parking lot by the Helecopter at the Memorial Site to hide (and eat his donuts) at night.

State Highway 50 near US Highway 12

Coming into town the speed limit drops from 55 mph to 40 mph to 25 mph for people going westbound which is how most Chicago area people come. eastbound out of town there is a hill that is steep were the limit goes from 25 mph to 40 mph. It is difficult to get up this hill at 25 mph. I was stopped going about 31 or 32 mph , the officer said I was going 38 mph. When the officer perceived I was going to fight the ticket he let me off with a warning. This is a notorious money maker for Lake Geneva, which is a tourist town.
