Milwaukee, Wisconsin Speed Traps
South 43rd Street near Kinnickinnic River Parkway
The speed limit on 43rd is only 25 mph. Most of the street (from the Miller Parkway) to Loomis Road is a speed trap. The worst is around Jackson Park (between Lincoln and Forest Home) The cops wait in the Kinnickinnic (KK) River Parkway that runs through Jackson Park. People have a hard time driving so slow and there is always someone pulled over near the intersection of 43rd & KK Pkwy.
US Highway 794
sits under the bridge, before oklahoma and on the on ramps speed limit is 40 he will get you at 45.
Interstate 94 East near Petit National Ice Center
Sit on I-94 East right as you see the petit ice center to your right, they sit around the bend. Believe me I’ve been pulled over before with a Laser gun and I was doing 15 over.
Interstate 894
Wisconsin State Patrol or Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department is running an unmarked car on the Milwaukee County Freeways. It is a green Chevrolet Impala. There is only a small antenna near the rear window. The license plate is a regular Wisconsin plate.
US Highway 190 near Capitol Road
As you come off Hwy 16 onto Capitol Drive, smokey is hiding about 300 feet before Springdale Road (very close to Spring Creek Church). He parks in the U-turn and is running Laser. He is on the bottom of the hill that crosses Duplainville Road which means by the time you detect him it’s too late (probably about 300 feet from the crest of the hill to smokey). Seen him targeting east and west bound.
Posted speed limit is 55, just keep it 60 or below before the crest of the hill and you should be OK.
