Racine, Wisconsin Speed Traps

Going west bound on Hwy. 11 entering the Village of Union Grove from the east the speed drops from 55 mph to 35 mph. when entering the Village boundry. The 35 mph sign is on the back side of a decending hill as you enter the Vil. The other Highways entering the Vil. drop you down to 45 mph. then 35 mph. with multiple "reduce speed ahead" signs. The entry from the East on Hwy. 11 uses a yellow triangle sign, like the one used to depict an up coming intersection to prepare you for the speed reduction. This sign is 100 feet past another yellow sign indicating an intersection. Then you have the white and black 35 mph. sign on the back side of the hill.

Washington Ave at about Lathrop speed drops from 40 to 25 squads sit on side street around Blaine. lots of $$ usually later in the evening.

Durand Ave. By Ohio street is bad for cops sitting on the north side of road. Picking off cars going from Lathrop to Ohio

State Troopers will park there car on the side streets, and use laser 90% of the time to catch you. My thoughts are you will see theme between Milwaukee County all the way to the State line of IL. So Please, SLOW-DOWN ! and go the posted speed limit.
