Green Bay Road

Racine, WisconsinOct 09, 20040 Comments

Coming south on Green Bay Rd. (Hwy 31) When you get to the fork in road where MM meets Hwy 31 the speed limit drops from 45 to 35mph. A state trooper is always there preying on the sad souls that don’t slow down. Best advice is do 35mph till you hit Spring St, then you can open it up.

Interstate 94 near State Highway G

Racine, WisconsinJun 18, 20040 Comments

Cops sit on top of the Hwy G overpass looking down onto west bound I-94 traffic… With a speed trap it’ll be one unmarked squad taking pictures, with chase squads on the enterance ramp just after the overpass, waiting for the calls. Hard to see because of the hill before the overpass, somewhat easy if you’re waiting for it because cars shouldn’t be parked on the overpass, Crown Vic or not…

North Main Street near 3 Mile Road

Racine, WisconsinJun 09, 20040 Comments

Police in the tiny 8 square block municipality of North Bay (located within the city limits of Racine) sit off Main Street just south of 3 Mile Road late at night. They prey on anyone more than 5 over the 25 mph limit where it changes from 35. They tiny North Bay court (held in a one room schoolhouse) is not interested in your story. The judge gets a real kick out of the whole thing. As this location is what many consider a "back road" home from the Milwaukee bars, be very, very careful.

Douglas Avenue near St. Rita’s School

Caledonia cops will sit in the parking lot of the bar next to St. Rita’s, on the street across from St. Rita’s next to the used car shop or in the parking lot of the closed manufacturing plant on the west side of Douglas just North of the quarry.
