Sheboygan, Wisconsin Speed Traps
Kohler police like to park in the emergency turn-around. Kohler cops work the south bound lane, as it is actually in the Village of Kohler.
As you proceed east on North Avenue you are going down a slight hill which automatically increases your speed. The speed limit is 25 mph. but it is very easy to go 35 or even 40 without knowing it. In the early morning hours there is usually a Sheboygan squad parked behind a tall row of Cedar trees clocking speeders as they go to work. Many a speeder has been pulled over on North Avenue as they go down the hill. Watch out & be aware of your speed.
In the late afternoon hours there is often times a Sheboygan squad parked in the entrance way to the city (Hmong) gardents located on the east side of Taylor Drive between Saemann Geele Avenues. The speed limit is 30 mph. but it is very easy to go 40 mph. or more & not see the squad that is hidden behind a cluster of trees in the garden entrance way. The officer is able to apprehend offenders going both ways in a double lane as the traffic is separated by a divided street. Beware & watch you speed.
At the botton of the hill a squad will be sitting in the parking lot of the baseball park. The hill is fairly steep and you can gain a lot of speed and the limit is only 25mph.
South of the tracks and Stop Sign, there is an unused driveway entrance on the east. Great hiding place and they will also get you for failing to Stop at the Stop Sign.
