Almost all roads have a 25mph limit. I have been here two days and have witnessed at least twenty stops. The fair is in town so be careful. They love to prey on out of towners.
Hwy 54-57, 2 miles south of City proper
After driving from Green Bay to Sturgeon Bay on 54 – 57, the 4 lane at 65 mph, the speed limit drops quickly to 45 as you enter a gentle sweeping right hand curve that’s even banked a bit. It remains 45 mph through the bypass of town, over the bridge and well passed the town on the North side yet alway four lanes. Very hard to see the first few speed signs at night.
State Highway 42-57 near Port Side Builders Giant American Flag
When traveling northbound on Hwy 42-57, on the right hand side there is an access road that goes in front of Port Side Builders, parallel with the highway. They face southbound with lights off, hidden behind the trees and bushes.
State Highway 42/57 North near Enterprise Road
HWY 42-57 North bound traffic is at 55 MPH up until Door County Motorsports, then 45 MPH enforcement officers sit in storage parking lots on east side of highway just past Door County Motorsports. Usually in AM rush hour and PM rush hour but also sparatic during the day. Usually unmarked blue squad with occasional marked squads.
