Camarillo, California Speed Traps
101 Southbound between Pleansant Valley and Camarillo Spring
I was heading southbound before heading up the Grade and just as traffic eases after Pleasant Valley the flow of traffic tends to go faster. He was a Motor CHP using radar as you start going up the hill. They target that area because peaple are trying to gain speed for the approaching steep hill!
North bound 101 freeway bottom of the Conejo grade
Passing the weigh station at the bottom of the Conejo grade ,the CHP can sit off the side of the road late at night and never be seen.
Upland Near Flynn Road
Motorcycle unit siting on EB corner of Upland/Flynn Road with radar facing WB.
The speed limit on this hill is 45mph. So you have to ride your brakes all
the way down. But most travel at 60+ down this road in the morning hours.
Pleasant Valley Road at Airport
Sheriffs hide behind trees at west end of airport and shoot radar on Pleasant Valley Rd.
Intersection of Arneill Rd. & Dunnigan St.
This is a 4 way stop. Cops oftentmes park on Dunnigan St. (east or west side) and watch for people running the stop sign on Arneil or making "Hollywood" stops (slowing down w/o completely stopping).
