King Arthur Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75056   Lewisville, Texas

While driving north on Old Denton (40 mph) and taking right on to King Arthur Blvd don't miss the single 25mph sign since you will not see the next until an officer hiding in the shade next to a house stops you. Officer will spot you before you reach the stop sign. Most of the locals might be aware of this but visitors will get caught at least once since there is a sudden change of speed.

Redlight at Walmart on 3040 (facing WM gas station)   Lewisville, Texas

There were 5-6 cops here, one was the lookout, radioing the others, and they were tag-teaming, going after people who used the improved shoulder (which looks like a right turn lane) (traveling east on 3040), to make a right turn to get to Denton Tap Road, or to make a left turn in the backside of Walmart parking lot. Do not turn right here unless you stay in the regular lane.

Entering the city of Lewisville from Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton   Lewisville, Texas

Hebron Parkway -- entering the City of Lewisville from Carrollton. The cop car is parked right before the "Welcome to Lewisville" sign to catch speeders coming in from Carrollton where the speed limit is 40. This coming down off a hill headed into Lewisville so the speed could reach up to 60. I have had to brake hard to getmy speed down. I have never seen him pull anyone over but he is there, hiding behind the sign.

Northbound I-35E between Round Grove Road and Business 121   Lewisville, Texas

The same Lewisville cop likes to sit on the inside shoulder anywhere between Round Grove Road and Business 121 and hand out tickets. The speed limit is 60 on this stretch of highway. He gave me a ticket one time for 75 after I had just gotten on the highway from the on ramp just before Corporate Dr. He was sitting just north of Corporate Dr. on the inside shoulder, a distance of about 500 feet from the on ramp I had just gotten on. No way I could have gotten to 75 in such a short distance. In fact I knew I was doing 65 because I saw him up there and looked at my speedometer. He did not want to hear anything I had to say about it. I see the same cop out there in this stretch of road all the time and he is always on the inside shoulder usually on the northbound side, but I have seen him on the southbound side a few times too. This stretch of road is this cops little pet peeve or something. I think this is all he does.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
