Westmoreland Rd. Officer will sit in church parking lot with radar gun monitoring south bound traffic. Posted speed is 30.

Ovilla Rd and Westmoreland and many other locations   Ovilla, Texas

Beware of the City of Ovilla, police like to shoot radar at the corner of Ovilla Rd and Westmorland Rd. Speed limit eastbound Ovilla Rd is 45 and west bound is 55, in the same stretch.They will also shoot radar up Westmoreland Rd, neither Ellis County or City of Ovilla will claim Westmoreland Rd and it is very rough through there, 35 MPH. Don't get a ticket any where in the Ovilla speed trap, the judge will not listen, and some of it's officers and the Chief of police are extremely rude. This town is a major speed trap!!

Corner of Westmoreland Rd. and Ovilla Rd. (Farm-To-Market Rd. 664)   Ovilla, Texas

Ovilla police like to set up radar in the early morning hours, nothing out there but fields on all sides of Westmoreland and Ovilla Rd. The speed limit goes from 55 to 45 and they like to sit right over the hill going west on Ovilla Rd. Seems their time might be better spent patroling neighborhoods. This is a speed trap!

Cross streets of Red Oak Rd and Westmoreland   Ovilla, Texas

Police sit behind tree on northeast corner of Red Oak Rd and Westmoreland, or to the east down Red Oak Rd so far they can't see the cars at the stop sign because of all the folage along the road, but like to right tickets early morning when people are trying to go to work. The police cars are painted mostly black and hard to see.
