Muncie, Indiana Speed Traps

University Avenue between McKinley Street and Tillotson. I do not know specifically where the cops hide. My encounters have always been while traveling west on University. I never see them in advance, but when approaching the stoplight at Tillotson they suddenly appear right on my bumper as if to purposely attempt to intimidate. Additionally, the cops like to make sure that you make eye contact with them in your rearview mirror. My encounters have always been during the nighttime hours.

Between the intersection of white river blvd and going north up Godman past BigShots bar cops will run up and down that street untill they catch someone coming out of the bar or speeding down the street

Cops hide in the alley between wysorCops and the liquor store watching for speeders, no seatbelt, running a YELLOW light, you name it

city police will hide there with lights out to catch early morning drivers heading to work.

County Police will park without lights after dark in the Carpenter Union lot beside the building in a manner that motorists driving E. will not see them. They will pull people over on the by-pass or E 332 and state that you were speeding.
