Temple Street near Between Bedford SR18 and Auburn SR14 Whitman, Massachusetts

Arguably one of the highest speed enforcement towns in the entire country, Whitman police hide anywhere and everywhere. But especially on Route 27 = Temple Street, between Route 18 and the Brockton line. Temple Street was originally 4 lanes; but was reduced to 2 lanes about 10 years ago. Mostly straight and flat, the 40 mile per hour speed limit is difficult to maintain. Recommend use of cruise control. Also, No Warnings! That is police department policy, no matter age or driving record.

State Route 18 Whitman, Massachusetts

There are many whitman cops posted through rt 18 starting from Skate Town to Wendy's. The speed limit goes from 40 to 45 to 40 to 30 so pay attention because the route is relatively smooth and fast. So don't get the urge to speed.

State Route 58 near Damien's Grill Whitman, Massachusetts

Stationary cruiser hides at side of road between Damien's & rotary on rte 58 (Plymouth St.) Will ticket rather than warn & will show up in court if you appeal, even if minor violation on clear, dry & empty road.

South Avenue near Train Crossing Whitman, Massachusetts

Police are often in the two parking lots of the train station, and have been know to hide in the parking lot of the car wash accross the street. Usually between the hours of eight pm to eleven pm. Posted speed limit is twenty-five mph, right off a thirty-five mph zone.
