Chapel Hill, North Carolina Speed Traps
Greensboro Chapel Hill Rd between Burlington (HWY-49) and CH
This road between Burlington (HWY-49) and Chapel Hill has not had speed limit signs for a very long time; those that travel this road assume 55 MPH. They put up signs last week it’s 45 MPH and they have been pulling motorist almost everyday since posting.
MLK boulevard (Hwy 86)
Southbound on MLK, about one mile south of I-40. The unmarked car is very visible, backed into a driveway on the right side of the road – usually, a silver LTD. the road is posted 35, and YOU WILL BE NAILED at 45 – all too easy, on a *downhill* 4 lane divided road. On rare occasion, there is a northbound trap about 2 miles south of I40 – unmarked car parked parallel to oncoming traffic in a bus stop on right side of road.

Watches NB traffic at the entrance to the doggie park accross from Soccer fields. Most days, always Sunday A.M.
Weaver Dairy Road between MLK and Homestead Road
This stretch of low traffic density is posted at 25 mph. Watch out for the cop who parks to the side, big tip, there is a pink breast cancer awareness sticker on rear fender of his gray car.
