Gahanna, Ohio Speed Traps
On Taylor Road in Gahanna
Gahanna police sit in parking lots of businesses on Taylor Road. Often times you can’t see them because the road curves around. By the time you see them it too late. The speed limit when you first turn onto Taylor Road off of Hamilton Road in Gahanna is 25mph. Eventually the speed goes up to 35mph but not for a while as the majority of Taylor Road has a posted 25mph.
BE CAREFUL on TAYLOR ROAD in GAHANNA OHIO…IT is a SPEED TRAP and every day I drive on this road and see someone pulled over.
Clotts Road near Middle School East
This road has been a speed trap for years. Because of the curves in the road, police cars are able to hide easily.
Agler & Stygler Road near Speedway
The cops love this sight. They hide in the shopping center where the license agency is located (next to the Tim Horton’s) – usually at night with only their parking lights on ready to nab anyone going over 25 where the speed drops from 35 to 25. I see them there practically every night – often with someone pulled over.
On N. Hamilton Rd at the Northeast School
The cops frequently sit in the driveway of the Northeast School waiting for people to overlook the 35 mph limit during non-school hours and the 20 mph limit during school hours.
The roundabout at the corner of Morse Rd and Rt 62
The speed limit on the roundabout is 20 and the cops like to hang out there. They also like to make sure you are not speeding before you hit the roundabout.
