Sierra Vista, Arizona Speed Traps
Mornings from about 5:30 until 7:00. With the High School and college there, it is rip for picking off speeders.
By the Cochise racquet club.
Police car parks off the shoulder at the NE corner of Cherokee and Choctaw and is not visible during daylight until you are within 200 Fort The radar is pointed at southbound traffic on Cherokee. The speed limit drops from 35 mph to 25 mph just before the stop sign where Cherokee crosses Kacina.
The cops patrol during the day and sit in the gated community entrance or all the way down the other end across the street from the 4way stop catching people not slowing down to 25 mph prior or speeding in the 35 mph zone as you come around the bend approximently 1/4 mile down from Buffalo Soldier Trail.
Cop sits in ally off of Golflinks waiting for speeders on Buffalo Soldier Trail. Cop can’t be seen until you come over the very small turn and rise in the road.
