Tucson, Arizona Speed Traps
Glenn St. turning off Swan – East
As soon as you turn off Swan you’re looking at what looks like and accident scene with six motorcycle police officers flagging you down. They already have you on radar after you missed the 25 MPH sign near the intersection which you’ll miss making the turn. Lots of medical offices here so they like this spot to meet their quotas.
Golf Links between Swan & Irvington
Often, especially at night, there is a squad car or motorcycle Cop in the median to catch north and/or south bound drivers. Both the squad car and motorcycle are hard to see because of the trees and bushes in the median.
W. Los Reales rd.
When going west on Los Reales a cop will sit at corner of Cardinal but now the sit in a wash between Cardinal and Camino de la Tierra. for 20+ years the speed limit was 45 now its 35. can’t blame the county there has been a lot of accidents, heck a ladie was walking and hit by a car just today.
Interstate 10
Out of town license plates are pulled over for no reason. I got pulled for having a Florida plate. His excuse, I did not signal properly (which I did), and he pulled me over 10 minutes after the lane change.
E Skyline Dr
Every once in awhile when I am heading westbound on skyline past the Orange Grove light, there is a motorcycle cop at the first left turn after the light with his radar gun. The speed limit is 45 but most people go at least 50.
