Especially in the morning when people are trying to make it to work on time or catch a flight, motorcycle police with radar guns hang out in driveways on the east side of Hollywood Way across from the airport. The speed limit is 40 mph, and the southbound lanes are at a slight downhill, so it’s common to look down at your speedometer and find you’re doing 55 mph or faster.
