US Highway 50 near Exit Number 35

Cameron Park, CaliforniaOct 31, 20060 Comments

Officers usually park behind guardrail on Eastbound 50 between Cambridge Road and Cameron Park Drive. The location is such that it is difficult to see the officer until close because the road leading up to it is a downhill, somewhat blind right bend and speeds often increase due to the rate of descent of the road.

Cambridge Road near State Highway 50

Cameron Park, CaliforniaOct 13, 20051 Comments

Both north and southbound lanes of Cambridge Road from Hwy 50 to Green Valley road. The posted speed limit is 30mph and is enforced by the California Highway Patrol. It is very easy to be going 40mph on this north/south connector road in Cameron Park. The radar units are usually parked beneath shade trees on either side of the road. Most everyone I know has been stopped or cited on this road.
