Carson, California Speed Traps
Sherrif parks his car in the driveway of the Mini Power Plant and will walk out to the street to catch you at the STOP.
Heading east on Sepulveda there is usually a sheriffs patrol car parked on the right side on the grass near the entrance of a lot where trucks pull in and out of it is the lot without the traffic light, posted speed limit is 40, i have only seen him pull trucks and cars that go straight from that right turn only lane on Alameda
From Wilmington to The 103 on Sepulveda. They usually sit newar the entrance to the oil refinery and Nova Warehouse using a radar gun and catch people going into Long Beach from Carson.
(East Bound Sepulveda just before Alameda overpass) Sheriff’s Motorcycle parks blacked out up on the side-walk typically behind a phone poll. You do not see him until you are up on him.
(West bound Sepulveda ontop of Alameda overpass)Sheriff’s motorcycle sits facing east. He hides along the K-barrier. Very difficult to see until you are ontop of him.
The speed limit is 40 MPH and is posted only at Sepulvida Blvd and Lomita Blvd. There are no cross street and only occasional cars entering from parking lot. This is a long streach of unblocked road, normal traffic speed is 50 MPH. You can see the officer sitting next to the curb, he does not try to hide, but most people do not think they are speeding, and get ticketed.
