On Midway between Chico and Durham

Chico, CaliforniaApr 29, 20100 Comments

The speed limit is 50 mph then drops to 25 mph when nearing Durham at the ball park. There is generally a CHP officer parked just inside the park entrance Monday thru Friday in the early am, and early afternoon when school traffic is heaviest.

Bell Road at Alamo Ave.

Chico, CaliforniaApr 23, 20100 Comments

CHP and Sheriff’s like to sit on the side of the road on Bell. They pull off to the edge and are well hidden under a tree. This is also a great spot for them to get you because there is a curve on the east end of the road, so westbound traffic can be caught without even seeing the cop car. A lot of people drive fast down Alamo because it a somewhat country road but the speed limit is only 30mph.

Eaton Road from Hwy 99 to Cohasset is 35mph, and at times heavily enforced. Most of the time City units will sit at the area around Burnap Ave.
