Chico, California Speed Traps
State Highway Highway 32 near State Highway Highway 99
Highway 32 traveling W/B from Forest Ave. area passing the Park and Ride lots before the Hwy. 99 On ramp and Stop light. There will be a Chico Police car parked on the side of the road with radar. They try to get you locked in before you can lower your speed down from 55 MPH to 30 MPH once you pass the Park and Ride lots. They are using cars with no lightbars and motorcycles.
The CHP also likes to use this spot to get extra tickets.
Skyway Parkway
Skyway traveling W/B from the Paradise area passing Chico City Limits sign. There will be a Chico Police car parked on the side of the road with radar. They try to get you locked in before you can lower your speed down from 55 MPH to 30 MPH once inside of Chico. They are using cars with no lightbars and motorcycles.
Hwy 99 south of chico
When traveling south on hwy 99, before you reach the Durham pentz exit. There is a small hill, and when the trap is occuring there will be 4 to 5 patrol cars waiting. Also, there is usally air support.
