Railroad Street near Citation Circle
Officers set up near the water treatment plant and catch speeders through the curves in the road. They will usually be in pairs of motorcycle cops. They also use driveways near by and change location but are usually in general area.
So. Lincoln Avenue near W. Citron Street
One, Sometimes two Motorcycle Officers set up this trap regularly. Right near Lincoln Park and sometimes further north on So. Lincoln. They use Radar Gun to snag lots of motorists. I was stopped, but was let go with a warning for "Being Honest" when I was asked why I was speeding. Other’s, like my girlfriend, were not so fortunate.
Magnolia Avenue near Rimpau Street
A heads up for Corona drivers. On January 2nd, the Corona City Council voted to approve the installation of red light cameras at at least six intersections. The program will be evaluated at a later date and, if appropriate. more intersections will be monitored.
Rimpau Avenue near Foothill Street
A Local Police Officer sits on a bike across the Santiago High School when the school is over as the speed limit then is 25 mph. However, the down hill speed and clear street makes it easy to forget the rule!
Lincoln Street near School
Always two motorcycle cops sitting on a side street facing Lincoln……..BEWARE! They are catching everyone speeding next to Corona High School!
