Dublin, California Speed Traps
I see motorcycle cops constantly on the strip between Amador Valley Rd. and Dublin Blvd. They are always tucked back somewhere on the left side if you are going toward Dublin Blvd.
One of only two department motor officers post at this location on a daily basis. Usually park on the sidewalk and entrance to the Palo Alto Medical center just below the palm trees. When they are finished there to go to the shopping center and park on the sidewalk in from the Bagel Shop.
Beware of Dublin Police hanging out in the parking lots of the mall here. the "posted" speed limit is 10mph, but if you do wind up ticketed, its probably easily fought and won beause the sign on which it is posted, would not be seen by some drivers and the print is too small for a person with normal color vision to read unless they stop their car (or even, stop and exit the car) and look closely at the sign.
Cop parks on driveway of Amador Valley Apartments beside the traffic light behind bushes. Usually monitors traffic coming from Village Parkway using Radar or Lidar. Speed limit is 30 MPH and is strictly enforced
Use a good deal of caution on Amador Valley Blvd between Dougherty Rd and Village Pkwy. The speed limit is 25 and this area experiences high levels of enforcement, generally by the local police on motercycles behind cars parked in the street.
