Escondido, California Speed Traps

Not a speed trap, but cops sit waiting for you to turn left out of the Olive Garden parking lot onto La Tarraza. The intersection is poorly marked. The island opens, the road paint is gone and the barriers are broken off. It looks like you can turn left…don’t.

Police car sits on a dirt driveway behind caucus plants and waits. He is at the corner of Chestnut and 5th ave., just before Date Street starts.

Going East on 9th as you are coming down the hill they are waiting for you. They take advantage of your speed increasing as you come down the hill. I see them in the AM alot but it can be any time of day.

Motorcycle officer is hiding in the driveway of Escondido High School. He sites drivers in both directions.
