Fountain Valley, California Speed Traps

On Tuesday night 03/01/2005 9:34, a cop was waiting right after the exit on Brookhurst St on 405 Northbound, where I watched the car flashes its light as I exited. The location to pay attention to is when the number of lanes change from five to four, and some speeder generally speed on the left lane there. Even though there are not many speed traps on 405, I have seen cops making tickets on five consecutive days throughout a week, so be careful.

Brookhurst Northbound just past Heil the police officer sits in the parking lot right by the tennis courts or on the GRASSY KNOLL under the trees. Enforcement is often in the AM rush hours and PM rush hours.

Travelling north on Harbor Blvd from Warner St. the street curves to the right. A Fountain Valley P.D. Motor cop is stationed in front of the car wash with radar. As you come around the curve & if you’re speeding by the time you’ve slowed down it’s too late. The speed limit is 40mph. He’s even there as early as 6am.

Cops hiding on opposite direction as you travel south bound on Ellis. As you pass Bushard they can lock the laser on you. Limit is only 40, it’s a major street so most people go quite fast. I got stopped at 55 mph. Still pending in court.
