Fremont, California Speed Traps
Warm Springs Boulevard near East Warren Avenue
Traveling North on Warm Springs Blvd, right as you cross East Warren a Police Officer sits either on the side of the road or in the apartment outlet on the right. Speed Limit is 45, but traveling through that intersection it is so easy for people to exceed it.
Mission Boulevard near Grau Drive
Southbound Mission Blvd. at the last street before Nursery Ave. often has a pair of Fremont motor units waiting (flow of traffic is usually around 60). It’s also right before Mission drops from 50 to 45.
Cushing Parkway near Bunche Drive
Two spots: 1) The cul-de-sac between the north end of the viaduct and Bunche Dr.; 2) the first business driveway on Cushing Pkwy south of the viaduct. Note to Fremont drivers: Fremont PD has lidar and appears to also have "POP" units (my last citation was by a POP unit 3 yrs ago that didn’t trigger my old detector, though the officer wouldn’t say if it was a trial unit or not).
Fremont Boulevard near Washington High School
3 motorcycle cops and 2 cars will be hovering by Washington high school and WAMU…they are very heavy between 12 and 1pm…6:45- 7:35am..and 2"30- 3:30 pm
Fremont Boulevard near Cushing Parkway
Lunch hours, on Fremont blvd. between the section of Cushing parkway and Landing parkway, the speed was temporally reduced from 40mph to 25mph, cop is behind the commercial building parking lot scanning the traffic, due to road construction, double fine ticket here, drive carefully!
