Fresno, California Speed Traps
N/3 McMullin Grade S/O Henderson
There is absolutely no signs of human life. It is flat barren land with no visible signs to post the speed. It will take you off the grid if you are using GPS on your cellphone when taking the Kerman Ave exit off the 5- So Freeway- It is not a shot across for it loops and divert into more endless country side meets deserted land.
Shields Ave., Between Argyle and Fowler
This was more of a rolling stop issue until a signal light was installed at Sunnyside and Shields. The MC Officer is still sitting in the parking lot on the SW Corner of Sunnyside and Shields, even after the signal installation. The officer has stopped numerous vehicles for speeding, mostly on the Eastbound side of Shields, BE AWARE.
Cedar Ave at McLane High School
Motorcycle police catch anyone going over 25MPH thru the school zone every morning on school days. On Cedar Ave between Clinton and Shields.
Where the 168 Sierra Highway becomes two-lane Tollhouse Rd.
When you leave the four-lane 168 Sierra Highway it becomes two-lane Tollhouse Road at N Thompson Avenue. Which means in less than a mile the speed limit goes from 65 mph to 55 mph! If you are watching the beautiful scenery in the area …. you will get nabbed! They don’t ask you any questions. They just write the ticket!! Watch out!!
Golden State Blvd between Ashlan and Shaw Avenues
There are cops that sit behind the Marquez Brothers sign for northbound traffic and El Mexicano foods sign for southbound traffic, they are on police dirt bikes dressed in camouflage suits with a tan police helmets to blend in. I thought that he was going to ride right out in front of me.
