Fresno Street near State Highway 99
Numerous police officers wait outside Grizzly Stadium and follow hoping to catch anyone doing anything. They gave a ticket for running a red light, even though we turned right to get on freeway. This was after a complete stop. Looking for "california stops", because lets face it, who wants to sit stopped for a long time in downtown Fresno!
Audubon Drive near US Highway 41
Motorcycle Cop on both sides of the 41 overpass very common
Dakota Avenue near Blackstone Avenue
Several Motorcycle officers are posted in front of the Senior Resource Center (the Old Sierra Hospital) on the north side of Dakota between Fresno Street and Blackstone. They are either in the Driveway of the Senior Center (hidden behind a building till it’s too late)or on Diana (a side street, behind several trees). I used to work in this building and saw them there several times a week. They are also there in the AM traffic times. This is the only 1/4 mile of Dakota that drops from the standard 40 to 35. I got a ticket there for doing only 42! They usually ticket the west bound traffic, but I’ve seen them stop east bound also.
Alluvial Avenue near E. of Fresno
Fresno PD Motorcycle Cop sits in the Kaiser Park parking lot (by the roller hockey rink) and uses instant-on K band radar to nail traffic on Alluvial.
